We’ve all been there. We’ve all had that moment where everything seems out of focus. Or where everything just seems dark. Maybe the lights were off. Maybe it was something else hindering our ability to see. When our ability to see is hindered, it’s easy to trip. To fall. But, once the lights come on or things come into focus – it’s like an Ah-ha moment. Faith can be the same way. Sometimes it feels out of focus. We wander blindly, wondering when His plan for us will become clear. We wonder how it is He wants us to live out our faith. This January we will start the new year with new focus. Focus that only comes from a loving Father. Join us at The Water’s Edge beginning January 5th for 20/20.

20/20 – A Life Group Study
Have you ever been in a situation when you couldn’t see where you were going? Maybe you had to get up in the middle of the night and no lights were on in the house. Or maybe you were in a movie theater that was almost completely dark. In those moments—when we can’t see what’s happening around us, and are blind to the obstacles in front of us—our potential to trip or fall goes way up! But at the instant when someone turns on the light? All of a sudden, we’re seeing 20/20. In the same way, faith can sometimes feel like walking in the dark. When it comes what God wants for us and how He wants us to live out our faith, nothing seems clear—and that lack of clarity can create serious obstacles in our lives. Thankfully, about 2,000 years ago, God sent Jesus to turn on the “light” once and for all. In this series, we’ll take a look at exactly what Jesus said and did to bring ultimate clarity to God’s will for our lives. We’ll discover that God is not only willing to shed light on every aspect of our faith and lives, but He’s also willing to walk with us, so we never have to feel like we’re walking blindly again.
