Fooled – Easter At The Water’s Edge
The world thought it was over. He had a great run but his luck ran out. Jesus was dead and lying in a tomb. His adversaries were relieved. His followers were afraid. Satan was victorious.
Until the third day when God fooled every last one of them. Jesus was alive and well. Satan had been swindled. Jesus’ enemies had been duped. His followers were joyful.
It’s Easter Sunday at The Water’s Edge. It’s April Fool’s Day too. Seems appropriate they fall on the same day.
Comedy replaces tragedy.
Courage replaces fear.
Forgiveness replaces sin.
Life replaces death.
