gambit : An opening move, typically one entailing a degree of risk with an offer to sacrifice, for the sake of gaining an advantage.
Darkness and brokenness and pain filled the world. The King couldn’t take it anymore so he made a move. A gambit. It was risky. It involved sacrifice. And the dramatic ending was a come-from-behind checkmate.
For God so loved the world that He gave His Son. The world hasn’t been the same since and your world doesn’t have to be the same ever again. Hope overcame despair. Grace forgave sin. Love replaced hate. Faith calmed fears. And life resurrected death.
