Each year, The Water’s Edge hosts a HUGE Community Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration. This year, WE can’t host the egg hunt at the church so WE are bringing the egg hunt into the community! From April 9th – April 12th, WE will have 200 special “eggs” placed in yards all over the greater Omaha areas. The egg signs will be clearly marked with The Water’s Edge logo on them. WE encourage you to take a drive (or walk, bikeride, etc) will your family from the 9th-12th searching for as many eggs as you can find. Be sure to take a photo of your hunt, post it on social media along with the hashtag #WEEggHunt along with the number of eggs you found. WE will have a drawing for two Amazon giftcards for those who post!
This is a community-wide event so feel free to share this with your friends!
WE Omaha Friends – WE Need your help! Sign up today to place a Egg Sign in your yard! Signs will be available to pick up from the church entry way beginning April 7th.
How To Hunt:
Use the list below to locate which neighborhoods have egg signs.
Walk, drive, bike, hoverboard or use whatever means of transportation you prefer to go through the neighborhoods searching for The Water’s Edge Egg Signs. Be sure to ahere to safe physical distancing guidelines.
Take photos of your hunt and post on social media! When posting on social media be sure to do the following:
1. Make your post public so WE can see it.
2. Tag @WEOmaha
3. Use the hashtag #WEEggHunt
Be sure to keep a count of the number of eggs you have found! Email Michele at michele@weomaha.com the total number of eggs found.
WE will do a random drawing from those who post on social media for 3 Amazon Giftcards and 1 Amazon giftcard will be awarded to the family who finds the eggs!
