For the past several years, The Water’s Edge has participated in an annual Season of Giving during the months of November and December collecting donations for our mission partners locally, nationally and internationally. Through our Season of Giving drives, our hope is that we can share Christ’s love with others while providing to our neighbors at home and abroad. Christmas Eve (Sleep In Heavenly Peace)

Operation Christmas Child - Goal 50 Boxes - Deadline November 14th

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to kids all over the world. You can help by filling a shoebox and delivering it to the church by Nov. 14th.

Together Thanksgiving Dinners - Goal - $7000 (200 meals) - Deadline November 14th

WE are again teaming up with our mission partner, Together, to provide meals this Thanksgiving to families in need. This year, WE hope to donate a total of $7000 worth of meals to families in need. You can donate in two ways :Purchase the items on the list below and drop them off at the church no later than November 14th or give online at weomaha.com/give.

Items needed:

1 box instant potatoes

3 cans vegetables

1 can cranberry sauce

1 large box stuffing mix

1 large can sweet potatoes

1 package marshmallows

1 gravy mix packet

1 non-refrigerated pie crust or pie crust mix

1 can pumpkin pie or fruit pie mix

1 box Bisquick

$15 check, made out to “Together”, for turkey voucher (give directly to Together employee; do not put in bag)

Project Wee Care - Goal $28,000 - Deadline December 5th

Help provide gifts, household goods and other supplies to families in need. The families all have children enrolled within the Millard Public School district. This year the Millard Business Association will once again provide gift cards and food vouchers for these families this Christmas. WE encourage you to commit to giving to Project Wee Care to help share the love of Christ with others.

Christmas Eve Offering - Sleep In Heavenly Peace - Goal $10,000 - Deadline December 24th

This year, 100% of our Christmas Eve offering will go to our mission partner, Sleep In Heavenly Peace. SIP relies on volunteers to help build, assemble and deliver beds to kids who might not have one otherwise.
