Sundays at 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM Online Worship 10:30

WE Serve Sunday has always been a favorite weekend here at The Water’s Edge. The church leaves the building to go out into the community to serve with mission partners all over the city. WE Serve Saturday’s will expand this tradition from once a year to once a month!

Every second Saturday of the month, WE will be going out into the community to serve and share the love of Jesus with others. We will have a variety of opportunities to serve, including packaging diapers, building beds, cooking meals and more.

Check out the WE Serve Saturday schedule below and sign-up for upcoming serving projects. Questions? Contact Leandra

January 8th – Together Food Pantry

The Water’s Edge and Together have been ministry partners for years. Together’s mission is to prevent and end hunger and homelessness in the Omaha and surrounding communities. They serve our community through housing programs, financial assistance and food pantries.

We will be serving in the Together food pantry by stocking shelves and packing home delivery boxes that will be delivered to homebound and Covid+ people in our community that need food. All ages are welcome to help serve!

Time: January 8th, 9:00am-11:00am

Location: 812 S 24th Street, Omaha, NE 68108

Ages: All ages welcome!

March 12th – Release Ministries

Release Ministries serves at-risk youth and foster families in Omaha through Bible studies, mentoring, and mental health support. They also have a foster care closet where foster families can come to shop for free clothes, baby supplies, and kid’s toys so that they have everything they need for their foster children.

WE will be helping switch out their winter clothes for spring items! We’ll help move, sort, stack and organize the foster care closet so that parents and children can easily find the things that they need. This closet is a huge blessing to foster children that have been moved from home to home and may not have many things of their own.

  • Time: 9:00am – Noon
  • Ages: All ages welcome!
  • Location: 3223 N 45th St, Omaha, NE 68104

We will be serving with Least of My Brethren at their February breakfast at Holy Family Community Center. This free, hot breakfast is a blessing to the homeless community in Omaha. Join us for a morning of serving up breakfast and hope!
