2024 High School Mission Trip Registration

By registering for the Summer 2024 High School Youth Mission Trip, I agree to the following conditions: 1. I am committed to going on this trip. My registration is a promise to people in Winchester, KY (July 6-14, 2024) and my fellow mission trip participants, that I will show up and serve. 2. My participation is contingent upon my ability to abide by the codes of conduct for The Water’s Edge and Group Mission Trips. 3. I understand my spot is not guaranteed until my registration form AND $100.00 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is received. 4. I alone am financially responsible for the full cost of attending the mission trip with WE and will work to meet the payment amounts and due dates. 5. I understand that failure to make a payment due date may result in the loss of my spot if a waitlist exists. 6. I understand my commitment to this trip extends to my involvement in the church beyond simply attending the trip. As such, I will be an active and faithful participant in the Worship and Youth Ministries of The Water’s Edge Church. I understand that failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of my spot on the mission trip. 7. I am a partner on this trip with my church, my peers, the leaders attending, and those we will encounter along the way. I will work to build community, carry my load, and grow alongside others attending. As such, I agree and promise to: a) Attend, with a parent, the Mission Trip information gathering on Sunday, May 19 @ 9:00am, and b) Attend all mission trip preparation, training, and group bonding events (Dates TBD). 8. I understand there are three drop dates which could impact my amount due: If I choose to drop from the trip at after October 31 but by March 20, I will forfeit my $100 deposit. If I drop after March 20 but by May 5, I am responsible for 50% of the FULL PARTICIPATION COST of my spot on the mission trip. If I choose to drop from the trip after May 5, I will still be responsible for 100% of the FULL PARTICIPATION COST. In the event I drop after one of these drop dates, any and all funds paid or contributed in my name toward the trip will be forfeit and used to cover the already incurred costs of the trip, any unpaid amount I am responsible for will be due immediately. Any amount paid or earned in excess of my amount due at the time of my drop will be held as credit toward a future WE Camp or Mission Trip.
