Abide Miller Park Partnership

Our long-time ministry partner, Abide, works to revitalize neighborhoods throughout North Omaha. After years of serving together, The Water’s Edge has partnered with Abide in adopting the Miller Park Neighborhood. This partnership allows us to serve and support the Lighthouse Missionaries living there. Lighthouse Leaders connect with the community, invest in area youth, and share the love of God all while living within the neighborhoods they serve. Through this relational ministry, Abide is making neighborhoods in North Omaha safer leading to stronger families and emerging community leaders.

The Water’s Edge is excited about this on-going partnership with Abide and the Miller Park Neighborhood. WE have pledged to support Abide and Miller Park with our resources, time, volunteers, and prayers. In adopting the Miller Park Neighborhood, WE are committed to continually serving our neighbors. Throughout the year, WE will work on various projects such as hosting block parties, renovating homes, and working on neighborhood beautification projects all while building relationships within the community. By working alongside our partners at Abide, The Water’s Edge will continue our vision ofbeing a church who relentlessly pursues a transforming relationship with God, generously extends hope to the hurting, sacrificially serves our families, and radically invests in the next generation.
