A bright new star. A bright new day.

WE will have service times throughout the day on Christmas Eve as well as an early Christmas Eve service on December 22. For our youngest worshippers, the service at 10:30 am will be the best fit for them. It’s designed especially for our wiggliest, giggliest of friends! (Please note – kids are always welcome at ALL of our worship services.)

Make sure to invite your friends, family, and neighbors so that we can all spend Christmas Eve together.

Christmas Eve at The Water’s Edge is always a wonderful day and WE need your help to make this year’s the best ever! Use the button below to serve at during Christmas Eve worship. Anybody can serve!

The holiday season can be a challenging time for some individuals. The emotional pain that we carry is as real and oppressive as the dark sky of the night. We invite you to The Longest Night—a service of healing and hope—on December 21st at 7 pm, either in-person or online.

This service is different from the traditional Christmas service. It provides an opportunity for us to reflect, pray, listen, and heal… together.

Christmas Offering

This year’s Christmas Eve offering will be Omaha Bridges Out of Poverty. It is an amazing organization that is fighting poverty right here in Omaha. Our goal is to sponsor one class in the Miller Park neighborhood.

A ten-week class typically consists of ten students. Each student is an investment of $3,000. The adult students receive training, teaching, and coaching to move from poverty to being self-sufficient. Amazing things happen at Bridges Out of Poverty. 94% of the students who begin the journey graduate. The average graduate increases their net income by nearly $1,500 per month ($18,000 a year), with an average decrease in debt-to-income ratio of 58%. And ten families, representing dozens of people, move from instability to self-sufficiency. This year’s Christmas Eve offering will have a generational impact on families in the Miller Park Neighborhood.

  • 1 Student = $3,000
  • 1/2 Student = $1,500
  • 1/3 Student = $1,000
  • 1/6 Student = $500
  • 1/10 Student = $300

Or you can give whatever. Every dollar goes to leading a family out of poverty. Use pulldown Christmas Eve Offering when you select.
