NEW MEN’S GROUP

The “Knowing the Bible” series is a resource designed to help Bible readers better understand and apply lessons of faith as shared in the scriptures.

This study will lead you through books of the Bible with four basic components:

  • Reflection Questions are designed to help you engage the text at a deeper level
  • Gospel Glimpses highlights the gospel of grace throughout the book
  • Whole-Bible Connections showing how a passage connects to the Bible’s overarching story of redemption culminating in Christ
  • Theological Soundings identifying how historic orthodox doctrines are taught or reinforced throughout Scripture

We will begin our study by working through the Gospel of Mark, the gospel most scholars recognize as the first written account telling the story of Jesus. Many believe the writers of Matthew and Luke incorporated Mark’s work into their own telling of the good news of Jesus.

You will learn more about the Bible than you have ever known before. However, most important is the journey of faith and life you will experience through this study.

Ready to learn, laugh, and live through faith together? We will start the journey on February 9, at 6:30 am.
