Interest Groups At TheWater’s Edge

Interest Groups

Dive into friendship and fun through Water’s Edge Interest Groups. These groups are your springboard to connecting with others who share your interests and hobbies, because they provide a natural context for building friendship. If you have an idea for an additional interest group we could start, we’d love to hear from you!

Women's Bible Study

SOS (Sisters of Scripture) is a group of women of various ages and at different stages in their faith journeys. We choose different Bible studies and meet every Monday morning during the school year to study God’s word together. In addition, we love to laugh and support one another through friendship and prayer.

See what our small group members have said…

“My women’s small group has been very valuable to me. It is a comfortable environment to learn, grow in my faith and develop close relationships with others. I utilize what I learn from my group many times in my daily life.”

– Rhonda Hodges

“For our family, being in a small group has been the defining experience in making our home at The Water’s Edge. It has helped us to get more engaged in serving at The Water’s Edge, helped us to stay on top of activities and projects the church is working on, and encouraged us to step out of our comfort zone to be involved. We are truly blessed to know these families. They are what fellowship is all about.”

– Ron & Cathy Price

“It doesn’t take any kind of a profound understanding to belong to a small group. There’s no pressure to find all the right answers. Often, just asking the right questions is enough. Or don’t ask. Just think. That’s fine, too. At its best, the group strengthens bonds in every direction. We feel closer to our friends and family, to the church and its members with encouragement from the lessons of the group. The small-group experience has set us free to explore our faith. It’s helped give us that foundation to build our spiritual future.”

– Mitch & Shannon Sherman
